DesertBoard® is excited to announce its participation in Dubai Design Week, held from November 5th to 10th, 2024, at the Dubai Design District (d3), UAE. As part of the region’s largest design festival, DesertBoard® will showcase its engineered Palm Strand Board (PSB®), the region’s most sustainable building materials.
As the Official Sustainable Material Partner of Dubai Design Week, DesertBoard’s Palm Strand Board (PSB®) is making a measurable impact by reducing the event’s carbon footprint by over 12 tons.
Inspired by the deep respect for the palm tree and guided by the visionary leadership of the late Sheikh Zayed, DesertBoard was founded with the ambitious goal of transforming palm frond biomass into innovative, eco-friendly construction materials. These boards are designed for a circular economy, allowing them to be reused or recycled at the end of their lifecycle, thus minimizing environmental impact.
Mr. Kamal Farah, Director at DesertBoard®, has expressed his excitement towards exhibiting PSB® product line at the Dubai Design Week, stating “With a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation, our 100% recyclable engineered products proudly support the UAE’s 2030 Green Agenda, specifically through the agenda’s ‘Green Diversification Program,’ which incentivizes factories to embrace green manufacturing and minimize industrial waste.
Dubai Design Week provides the perfect platform for DesertBoard to connect with a diverse audience of architects, designers, developers, and sustainability enthusiasts. This event attracts industry leaders and creative minds who are passionate about shaping the future of design and construction. By exhibiting the innovative and sustainable potential of Palm Strand Board (PSB®), DesertBoard aims to inspire and empower the design community to adopt eco-friendly solutions.
The company’s commitment to sustainable practices aligns seamlessly with the values and aspirations of Dubai Design Week, making it an ideal opportunity to highlight the transformative impact of bio-based materials on the built environment.
We look forward to engaging with the creative community at the Downtown Design fair and demonstrating how our solutions can help meet the growing demand for sustainable building materials in the region.
