DesertBoard, the manufacturer of the region’s most sustainable building material – Palm Strand Board (PSB®), is set to participate in the third edition of Saudi Wood Expo, taking place from 30 August to 1 September 2026 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center in Riyadh.
The 2026 edition of Saudi Wood Expo is expected to bring together 35,000+ attendees across co-located events, 3,500+ products and solutions, 200+ exhibitors, and participants from 50+ countries, creating a major platform for industry professionals to explore the latest developments across wood, woodworking, construction, interiors and fit-out.
For DesertBoard, the exhibition provides an opportunity to introduce PSB® to a wider audience in the Saudi market and demonstrate how agricultural byproduct can be transformed into a high-performance building material. Manufactured in the UAE using upcycled date palm fronds, PSB® offers a sustainable alternative to conventional wood-based boards while supporting resource efficiency and circular manufacturing.
Designed for applications across construction, interior fit-out, furniture, events and exhibitions, and landscaping, PSB® combines performance with environmental responsibility. The board offers Super E0 formaldehyde classification, fire resistance of up to 120 minutes, acoustic insulation of up to 55 dB, and resistance to moisture and termites, making it suitable for a diverse range of applications.
